Prof. Fushuan Wen, Zhejiang University, China (IEEE Fellow)

Brief introduction: Professor Fushuan Wen received the BE and ME degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the PhD degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a full professor and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997, and the director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010. He has also been a full professor in the Hainan Institute, Zhjiang University, Sanya, China, since 2022, and the director of Sanya Global Energy Research Institute, Sanya, China, since 2023.

He has been undertaking various teaching, research and visiting appointments in National University of Singapore (NSTB Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Fellow), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Research Fellow, Visiting Assistant Professor), University of Hong Kong (Research Assistant Professor), South China University of Technology (University Distinguished Professor), University of New South Wales in Australia (ARC Project Senior Fellow, Senior Visiting Fellow, Senior Research Manager), Queensland University of Technology in Australia (CSIRO and ARC Project Visiting Fellow), Brunei University of Technology (Professor in Power Systems), Technical University of Denmark (Otto Monsted Guest Professor in Power Systems), Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (Visiting Fellow), Murdoch University in Australia (Adjunct Professor), Tallinn University of Technology (Professor in Energy Systems), Hangzhou Dianzi University in China (Distinguished Professor), Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Australia (Honorary Visiting Scientist), Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society (Visiting Principal Research Scientist).

His research interests include: 1) power economics and electricity markets; 2) power system investment, planning and operation optimization; 3) smart grids and electric vehicles; 4) power system alarm processing, fault diagnosis and system restoration; 5) artificial intelligence applications in power and integrated energy systems.

He has published 200+ SCI-indexed papers, 740+ EI-indexed papers, and 820+ Scopus-indexed papers. His publications have been cited for 20600+ times. He has completed and is undertaking more than 200 grants and projects from governmental organizations and industry.

He received many awards both at the national level and provincial level, including the most prestigious National Natural Science Award of China. He has been listed in "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" in nine consecutive years since 2015 by Elsevier, and is the author of one of the China's 100 Most Influential Domestic Academic Papers in 2016.

He is the editor-in-chief of Energy Conversion and Economics (SPERI, IET, Wiley), the deputy editor-in-chief of Journal of Automation of Electric Power Systems, a subject editor in power system economics of IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution, associate editor of Journal of Energy Engineering and Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy. He is also on the editorial boards of more than 10 journals. 

He was elected to IEEE Fellow for contributions to fault diagnosis in power grids.

Prof. Yang Yue, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China  (SPIE Fellow, IEEE and Optica Senior Member)

Brief introduction: Yang Yue is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. His current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published about 300 papers in journals (including Science) and conference proceedings with more than 12,000 citations, six edited books, two book chapters, more than 60 issued or pending patents, more than 200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >70 keynote talks). Prof. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, and an Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals. He also served as Guest Editor for more than 10 journal special issues, Chair or Committee Member for more than 100 international conferences, Reviewer for more than 70 prestigious journals.

Prof. Shiwei Xu, Hunan University Suzhou Research Institute, China

Brief introduction: Xu Shiwei, professor and doctoral supervisor, director of the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Vehicle Design and Manufacturing Technology at Hunan University, president of the Suzhou Research Institute of Hunan University, and fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China. Served as a permanent researcher at the State Key Laboratory; Deputy Chairman of the Expert Committee of the China Society of Automotive Engineers Automotive Lightweight Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance; Deputy Chairman of the China Society of Automotive Engineers Digital and Intelligent Manufacturing Working Committee; Deputy Director of the China Society of Automotive Engineers Science and Technology Awards Working Committee Members, etc. The research areas cover the following aspects: intelligent manufacturing: lightweight aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, 3D printing new materials and intelligent structures collaborative design and development in the field of mass transportation (cars, rail transit, aircraft), in-situ deformation mechanism analysis and parts and components Digital design-manufacturing-testing and industrialization promotion, biomedical implant field: design and development of degradable implant materials and intelligent design and manufacturing of biomedical devices and health care outdoor equipment; database field: multi-material fusion design for new energy vehicles, Development of intelligent material selection database and virtual evaluation database; research on vehicle energy flow measurement and control and digital twin design: Carry out vehicle energy flow testing of new energy electric vehicles, clarify the energy consumption proportions of 400 components on the vehicle, and build different models of electric vehicles. Vehicle energy flow database and simulation evaluation system. Based on this database and platform, vehicle energy consumption analysis and energy management, as well as vehicle thermal management analysis and optimization are carried out, and a low-carbon optimization design plan for the entire vehicle is provided.
